Privacy Policy

This policy was written in accordance with the Privacy Protection Law, 5741-1981, including Amendment No. 13, and the Communications Law (Bezeq and Broadcasting), 5742-1982 (Section 30A – direct mailing). Browsing the site, using the artificial intelligence services, building a specification in the calculator, leaving details to receive a quote or making a purchase constitute consent to this policy. If you do not agree – do not use the site and do not provide details.

Providing information is not required by law. Without the details required to perform the service (name and phone for contact, delivery address, payment details with the clearing company) we will not be able to provide the requested service.

Privacy inquiries will be handled through one of these contact channels. The name of the owner, the company number and the address also appear on the invoice and on every commercial document of the shop.

2. What information is collected

2.1 Information you provided knowingly

Name, phone, e-mail, delivery / invoice address, notes and preferences.
Content of an inquiry in the contact form, WhatsApp, phone, e-mail or chat.
A computer specification you built in the build studio (components, quantities, estimated price, intended use of the computer) together with the contact details you left to receive a quote.
Content of a conversation with the artificial intelligence assistant on the site, including questions, answers and the context of the conversation.
When making an online purchase: order details, items, delivery address and billing details required for the invoice.A full credit card number is not stored in the shop’s databases – clearing is carried out by CardCom.

2.2 Information collected automatically

IP address, browser type and operating system, device, language, access times, pages, referrer, abandoned cart and clicks.
Cookies, pixels, tags, beacons and similar identifiers – as detailed in section 5.
Server and security logs for the purposes of operation, fraud prevention and troubleshooting.

Do not provide sensitive information (third-party passwords, a full card number, health data, information about minors) in the chat, in the form or in a message. If such information was provided by mistake – delete it from the conversation and contact us for deletion.

3. Purposes of use – including future sales

The information is used by us, explicitly, for all of the following:

Providing the service you requested: response, quote, order, assembly, warranty, repairs, and pickup.
Saving the build specification and customer details as a Quote Lead in the WordPress dashboard, so the store can get back to you with pricing, availability, and adjustments.
Saving AI conversations (site chat, compatibility advice in the calculator, service inquiries) for continued handling, service improvement, quality control, fraud prevention – as well as for future sales and service to the same customer (e.g., repeating a specification, upgrades, peripherals, water loop maintenance), subject to the law and the marketing consents in Section 8.
Site operation, security, fraud prevention, usage analysis, and improving the browsing experience.
Meeting legal obligations (invoices, tax, consumer protection, legal proceedings).
Direct marketing only with explicit consent, as detailed in Section 8.

Submitting a build specificationis not a purchase transaction. Sending the specification does not obligate you to buy, nor does it obligate us to supply at the price shown on screen. The final price, inventory, and assembly are determined only after the store reviews and approves the offer.

4. AI Services

The site operates (or may operate) AI-based tools, all or some of them:

Site chat assistant (answering about the store, custom water cooling, products, and directing to leave contact details).
Compatibility advice / specification completion in the build calculator. The advice is a recommendation only, not a commitment that the computer will be assembled, that the components will actually be compatible, or that the price will be held. Final compatibility is manually checked in the lab before approving an offer.
Internal tools for editing the site (e.g., creating images for the magazine) – these do not collect information from customers.

The conversation may be with a system rather than a person. The content is saved, analyzed, and used for the purposes in Section 3, including future sales. Processing may be carried out by processing providers in Israel or abroad (including OpenRouter and its model providers). By using the AI services, you consent to this.

Do not rely on the AI as a substitute for professional advice from the lab, and do not enter passwords, card numbers, ID photos, or third-party information into it.

5. Cookies and Similar Technologies

The site uses cookies and similar tools – pixels, tags, beacons, SDKs, and local identifiers (including localStorage for the calculator’s specification draft) – to:

To operate the site (proper functioning, security, shopping cart, account login) – essential cookies, which do not require consent because the site does not work without them.
To save display preferences (e.g., theme) and build drafts in the configurator – essential for saving your selections.
To measure usage (e.g., Google Analytics) and tailor content or advertising (e.g., Facebook pixel) – only after explicit consent, if and when activated.

How consent is given: On first visit, a cookie banner is displayed with two equal options – “Accept all” or “Only essential”. No measurement or advertising cookie is loaded before approval. Closing the banner without making a choice is considered a choice of “Only essential”. The choice is saved (cookie + localStorage) for a period of 12 months, and you can change or revoke it at any time via the “Cookie settings” button at the bottom of every page.If a material change is made to this policy, we will request consent again.

Some cookies are essential for payment and cart. Blocking cookies in the browser may break the purchase process, saving the configuration, or login. Third-party cookies are also subject to those providers’ policies. We do not commit to absolute security of information transmitted through advertising networks.

6. Third parties and transfer abroad

Information will be transferred to a third party only as required for the purposes of this policy, including:

Payment processing: CardCom (card details held by the processor, not in the store’s database).
WooCommerce / WordPress – orders, customers, and inquiries.
Cloud providers, hosting, email (including Microsoft 365 for xmodzpcs.com mailbox), and security services.
AI providers (OpenRouter and model providers), which may process information outside Israel, including the US / other countries, according to processing agreements and adequate protection as required by law.
Shipping and logistics, accountant, legal advisors, authorities as required by law, and a purchaser of the business in case of merger / sale – subject to the continued applicability of this policy.

We do not sell customer lists. Non-identifying statistical information may be provided to advertisers or measurement tools.

7. Retention

We will retain information as long as it is required for the purposes for which it was collected – handling a quote, order, warranty, accounting, legal protection, and future sales/service to that customer – and thereafter we will delete or anonymize it, unless the law requires longer retention (e.g., invoices). Inquiries and AI conversations may be retained as long as there is a reasonable service relationship with the customer or until you request deletion, subject to retention obligations.

8. Direct Mail and Marketing

Advertising messages (email, SMS, WhatsApp, phone calls) will be sent only with prior explicit consent, in accordance with the Communications Law. You may cancel at any time by sending an “unsubscribe” message or by contacting [email protected] / 054-7438443. Cancellation applies to marketing mailings and not to operational messages regarding an order or quote you requested.

9. Your Rights

In accordance with the Privacy Protection Law, you may request access to the information stored about you, correction of information that is incorrect, incomplete, or outdated, and deletion or restriction of use – subject to legal retention obligations (invoices, proceedings, warranty). Contact: [email protected] or at the lab address. We will endeavor to respond within a reasonable time.

10. Security – No Illusions

We take reasonable and accepted measures (HTTPS, permission separation in WordPress, payment processing via CardCom according to PCI DSS standard at the acquirer). There is no absolute security on the internet. We do not guarantee that a security incident, breach, leak, or misuse will not occur at our site or at a provider, and we are not liable for consequential damage caused by such an event beyond the explicit obligations under the law. Use of the site and AI services is at your own risk regarding the content you choose to provide.

11. Minors

The site is intended for adults. Under the age of 18 – consult a responsible adult before providing details or making a purchase.

12. Changes

The binding version of the policy is the one published on the site. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the updated version.
